Why do the counts differ from a normal character counter?
X uses weighted rules. Many emoji and CJK characters count as two, and recognized URLs receive a fixed length. This tool uses twitter-text.
Can I choose where each post ends?
Yes. Select manual splitting and place --- on its own line between posts. Over-limit posts remain editable and are flagged.
